Don Robertson, who was in charge of the South-West Pacific OBIS Node since its inception, left the OBIS group after his retirement, now some time ago. Since then the OBIS Node, based in New Zealand, hasn’t been very active. This all promises to change, now that Kevin Mackay will take over the responsibility over the Node from Don. Says Kevin: “I am happy to be on board as OBIS is vital to New Zealands role and responsibility in the international biodiversity community and I look forward to collaborating in the OBIS Network”. Please join me in welcoming Kevin.
